‘The Ivy Link’ is Croydon High School’s alumnae association whose mission it is to link friends of the school together. Please read our latest news below.

Memories

Vivien Doyle attended Croydon High School from 1955-1962. She wrote to us to tell us that she had interviewed six of her old school friends about their memories of the school when it was in Wellesley Road and these recordings, plus Vivien’s summary notes, formed part of an exhibition in the Museum of Croydon, Croydon Clock Tower, Katherine Street.

Vivien and her friends have very kindly agreed that we can share these interviews – in the form of audio recordings – with the school community. They provide a fascinating insight in to the history of the school for those of us who weren’t there and will, no doubt, bring back many memories to those who were.
