Every single girl’s experience of Sixth Form is unique because everything she does is tailored to her individual needs and goals. The encouragement of the Form Tutor, the expertise of the Careers mentor and the oversight of the Head of Sixth Form combine to create a supportive backdrop where personal relationships are key. Class and Tutor groups sizes are purposefully small. The focus is very much on the individual with teachers finding the right balance between challenge and encouragement for each girl.

All girls need personalised support to help them formulate their decisions and create the most persuasive applications for whatever lies ahead. The Pathways Mentoring Programme combines experienced mentors with our supportive tutor team to help bridge the gap between joining Sixth Form and moving on to university or working life. Our highly-regarded Careers Department works in tandem with Croydon High and GDST alumnae: a powerful network of like-minded women who offer invaluable support to our girls in Sixth Form and beyond.

Our inspirational enrichment programme seeks to provide opportunities for all. Whether they are performing in one of our numerous choirs, orchestras or ensembles, competing in one of our many sports’ teams, or debating with confidence and assertion, these leaders of our school community inspire with their talents and their determination whether it’s for fun or elite competition.

Our Sixth Form girls set the standards that the rest of our school community follows. From fascinating geopolitics to heart-breaking drama, sublime music, and competitive sport or in activities designed to raise compassionate and selfless awareness of others, our enrichment programme sparks and nurtures individual passions that will often last a lifetime.
