Just attending Croydon High School is not an option. We expect our girls to engage with Croydon High School.

Clubs are available seemingly morning, noon and night, from early morning cross country runners around Selsdon Park Hotel’s golf course, to after school Pentathlon Laser shooters at Whitgift School, via Middle School Choir at lunchtime and all ahead of a Biathlon at the weekend.

Clearly, team sports have a high profile, with success in regional tournaments and the London Youth Games not uncommon. Netball and Hockey are well established. Cricket and Rugby are emerging, with tournament wins in both new sports.

Swimming and Athletics enjoy individual and team success, with several girls currently competing for team GB in the latter.

The extra-curricular offer falls in line with the ‘every girl, every day’ philosophy, in that so much choice exists for girls to explore their talents, and when they find one they wish to pursue, the school’s structure and experience can enable them to excel.

Girls are always keen to run clubs for younger girls to share their own interests and passions.

Here is just a flavour of the sort of clubs we offer… but we’re always on the lookout for new ideas!
