Art and 3D Design Exhibition 2018

The Summer Art and 3D Design Private View was a fabulous evening celebrating Year 11 GCSE, Year 12 AS and Year 13 A level pieces. The proceedings started with Stella from Year 9 playing the piano beautifully. The work on display was truly exciting and pieces included lights, tables, jewellery, architecture, chairs, sculptures, paintings, felt making, embroidery, ceramics, glass work, photography, print making and an installation. The variety of work exhibited was outstanding, and really celebrated the girls’ individuality and creativity. It was lovely to see former Art and 3D students Georgia Syms, Faaria Satvilker, Avneet Kalsi and Nana Addo-Kufuor, along with the youngest guest baby, Jude. It was good to see Mrs Palmer as well! The girls have worked so hard over the last two years and should be congratulated on such a successful show. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jan Duyt, Mr Robertson and Mr Bishop for their expertise and dedication in supporting the girls by setting up the show. So many guests and parents commented on the professional standard of work; it really was the summer show to be at in 2018.
