About David King
In his role as Deputy Head (Pastoral), Mr King feels privileged to be able to work with the Heads of Year and counselling teams as they support pupils throughout their time at the school.
He was fortunate to read Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, before taking an Open University Maths Diploma as he started his teaching career in the mathematics departments of boarding schools, where he was also heavily involved in sporting and boarding house pursuits.
Mr King’s hockey was not bad once upon a time, and he was delighted when Croydon High PE began cricket rather than rounders as the major summer sport!
