This week marked a cherished tradition at our school, as Year 6 pupils were paired with their Nursery and Reception buddies for the very first time. The hall was filled with giggles, curiosity, and gentle introductions as the older pupils welcomed their younger friends with open arms.
Together, they quickly got to know one another and began building the foundations of a friendship that will grow throughout the year. It was a joyful scene of connection and care – where every high five, smile, and helping hand reminded us of the magic that happens when children journey together across year groups.
