Little Ivy’s Stay & Play
Important News regarding Little Ivy’s Stay and Play
We are sorry to announce that we have made the difficult decision to cancel Little Ivy’s Stay and Play for the foreseeable future.
As we all know, the school is embarking on an exciting refurbishment of the area around the Junior School Hall. It will be an amazing space which will be available to the whole school community, including Little Ivy’s of course.
Whilst the work is being done, we have obviously had to relocate a lot of classrooms and activities which has meant that the usual Little Ivy’s location is now not available.
We had hoped to find a new venue. However, on full consideration, we do not feel the proposed temporary space fully meets all our health and safety responsibilities. As you can imagine, this is the most important issue for us – and of course, for those who attend Little Ivy’s.
We are of course very sorry that our Little Ivy’s community will not be visiting us over the next few months – they are an important part of our school community. We apologise for the late notice but hope everyone concerned will understand that we have been making every effort to try and find a suitable temporary home.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank Anita Reeves, our wonderful Little Ivy’s co-ordinator, for all the hard work and enthusiasm she brings to the group and for all she has personally done to try and help us relocate. I know she will be more disappointed than anyone but like all of us, she is very excited about the new development and we all look forward to welcoming Little Ivy’s back soon.
