Success in SATRO Problem Solving Challenge

Teams of KS3, KS4 and KS5 pupils took part in the annual SATRO Problem Solving Challenge heat at St Philomena’s. They were tasked to design and build a vehicle to transport a bottle of liquid nitrogen. Points were gained from the plan, final vehicle design, distance travelled and materials left unused.

All three teams worked extremely hard and came up with a variety of ideas. Well done to all participants! Huge congratulations to our Year 10 and 11 team, who came second in their Key Stage, only narrowly missing a place in the final!
