Susie Ma joins the Dragons

February 27, 2026

Susie Ma is an inspirational entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Tropic Skincare – now a £68 million, multi-award-winning, freshly made beauty brand.

While in the Sixth Form at Croydon High, she began creating and selling her own products at local markets. After reaching the finals of The Apprentice in 2011, Susie secured investment from Lord Sugar and went on to grow Tropic into one of the UK’s fastest-growing skincare companies.

Guided by Tropic’s “Infinite Purpose” – to create a healthier, greener, more empowered world – Susie now leads a HQ team of 250+, supports a UK community of 30,000 Ambassadors, and has helped fund over 7.5 million days of education globally through charitable partnerships, including @teamuws as part of Tropic’s 10% for the World pledge.

Recognised by Forbes 30 Under 30, The Sunday Times 40 Under 40 and the EY Entrepreneur Awards, Susie’s journey from founder to investor is a powerful example of purpose-led leadership in action.

We are proud to celebrate her on our Wall of Women – honouring alumnae who are shaping industries and making a meaningful difference in the world. ✨

Susie will be joining the Dragon’s again on Thursday 5 March at 8.00pm on BBC One.
