Diwali Celebration with Parents

Reception have been lucky enough to welcome two of our parents into the classroom this week to discuss Diwali, The Festival of Light, which falls on Thursday 4 November this year. They have learnt the story of Rama and Sita and the traditions that Hindus take part in during the five-day festival of Diwali. The girls have taken part in various activities including rangoli patterns, diva lamps and drawing mehndi hand pictures in class. Happy Diwali from Reception class!
