Diversity and Inclusion Assembly Poem

Last week, during the Year assembly for Year 7, we heard from some budding Year 7 poets. The theme this week was diversity, inclusion and tolerance. During the assembly, pupils were asked to consider difference and how it is sometimes celebrated and at other times not accepted in the world. It was lovely to hear from seven pupils with poems they had written on these themes after being inspired by National Poetry Day in October. Thank you very much to Poppy K, Charlotte S, Emily R, Sabine K, Claire C, Rukky U and Martha V. We hope to hear some more poems written by Year 7 after Christmas on a different theme.
