Fundraising for Lebanon

We were thrilled to learn of a recent fundraising initiative undertaken by Flora (Year 5), Miessa (Year 5) and Serafina (Year 4).

Having heard about the dreadful explosion in Beirut and aware of the suffering of the population, the pupils decided to try to raise money by setting up a stall outside their home.  They manned the stall in the afternoons over two days and raised £145.00 in donations from passers-by (luckily mum had a card payment device!). 100% of the raised money has gone to UNICEF to support children from Lebanon.

Importantly they really connected with everyone who stopped at their stall and explained what they were doing so very clearly and hence this incredible level of donations was achieved. Well done!
