Dear Parents and friends

I hope you have enjoyed a restful and restorative break and feel ready for the new school year. I feel 2020 has a very positive ring to it and I hope it is a happy and healthy one for all of us.

It has certainly started well; our Entrance Test day on Monday ran very smoothly with record numbers attending and, importantly, the girls seemed to enjoy the experience which can only have helped them perform at their best.

Mock examinations began on Tuesday and I am delighted to hear feedback that all candidates seem to be prepared and well organised. It may be a stretch to say they are enjoying the experience, but it will stand them in good stead for the summer.

I hope you enjoy the following update on the many House activities that took place last term – it was certainly packed and my thanks to Mrs Webb for her tireless enthusiasm and organisation, supported by the House Captains, of course. Similarly, I hope you will join me in congratulating our sports stars for their many individual and team achievements which are detailed here. Thank you to the Sports’ Department for all they do to encourage and enable the girls to excel.
