Salvation Army Christmas Appeal

Around a month ago, myself and all other charity representatives from Year 11 were called together by Ms Nowitzke to launch the ‘Salvation Army Christmas appeal’. We arranged a whole school assembly and requested all students brought in gifts for teenagers who would not be fortunate enough to get any gifts this year. We were delighted to have so many form groups from different year groups participate and we are proud to say that we received over 200 presents. Croydon High was happy to take part in the scheme to give back to our community and we hope that our gifts make the children who receive them feel that little bit more special.
