Inspiring Females

Two representatives from Year 5 went to the GDST Head Office last week to take part in a planning session for an event for all GDST Junior Schools. Under the umbrella of Inspiring Females the girls were tasked with planning a launch event and a plan for the next academic year. Their brief was to name and design an event aimed at inspiring Junior/Prep girls to discover more about the world of work. Of course this fits perfectly with our Careers in the Classroom project which is why our girls were invited to take part in the small working party. As well as the opportunity to collaborate with other GDST girls and plan an event for over 100 girls, they were introduced to GDST CEO Cheryl Giovannoni and got to spend the day in the new open plan GDST Head Office, including a trip up to the sky garden.
