A visit from former Head Girl Rhea

Class of 2014 and former Head Girl Rhea Dillon is currently working on a photography project called YOUTH (Working Title) to ‘shoot’ young black girls aged 18 and below; her mission is to fill the gap in the documentation of youth images of black girls in Britain. Rhea met with Mrs Smith and five girls from Lower Sixth to discuss, amongst other things, if they feel there is a lack of images which represent the carefree and positive nature of black girls in the art world. Rhea is on a mission to put this right and will be enlisting the help some of our very own beautiful Croydon High girls. We look forward to seeing the results.

This current venture will be an extension of the project Rhea worked on in Paris which you can access here.
